Well no doubt linda s costanzo book is always good . But if u have fourth edition no need to buy fifth edition .actually there is no difference between fourth and fifth edituon in the matrer of content accept different cover and some color on pages .all the materials are same .
Even I had sold out my fourth edition when I was heard abouth fifth edition .i gott it today but after seeing book I think I wasted my money
But for usmle and medical colleges student Linda s costanzo physiology is far better than guyton physiology

As a medical student, I have found this book to be enormously helpful in my physiology class. It's much shorter and more concise than other textbooks, and still has all the information I need. It has great photos and diagrams, and really helpful explanations. Plus, the author, Linda Costanzo, also wrote the BRS book for physiology, so the two tie together really well. I definitely would recommend this book to first year medical students!
