I semi-retired due to illness and came back.....but in an office without Wi-Fi or good computer speed(rural)..New information is mandatory in any practice. This book is chalk full of good discussions, diagnosis, treatment of most problems in primary care. It has over 1100 pages...My first copy had 600...Yikes....That is why it so hard to be a Primary Care Provider any more. There is information overload.....and another reason 40% of Residencies were left empty in Primary Care/back to the trenches I love.

I'm a physician assistant student and I bought Current as a reference during my clinical year. Yesterday my preceptor told me that I had impressed him so much with my concise knowledge of diseases that he was going to recommend this text to all future students he encounters. Basically, I'm really glad I bought this book! It's almost everything I need to know, and it's presented in an easy to read format.
