This book provides a good source for learning the basic to sleeping problems and you will have a good understanding for what you are dealing with when you seek help. If you are looking for new information such as a brand new tools to be able to sleep like me this is not the book for you. If you have been dealing with sleeping issues for a while there is no magic cure or pill but don't give up, keep trying different options from the doctor till it's fixed. Doing without sleep can cause a lot of other problems and this book does cover that issue very well.

Yes, as other reviews have noted -- and as you might guess from the price -- the book is not what I would call 'comprehensive' and it doesn't provide *all* the solutions to all of the problems.
BUT! I firmly believe the first step in solving any problem is understanding it, and this book covers many problems you might be having to help you determine what's disrupting your sleep. It doesn't go into lots of depth. It describes a problem briefly, then offers a solution or two (or few) that you can try in order to solve the problem yourself. Mostly (not completely) natural or 'do-it-yourself' type solutions; if you dislike such books you won't like this one.
It covers a good number of potential problems (39, I believe it was), then has a dozen or so extra chapters with helpful info on improving sleep.
As a person who has real problems with sleep due to a number of issues (serious back/head injuries, almost constant neurological pain, working long/odd hours, smoker/caffeine-consumer) I already know most of this stuff because I've spent lots of time learning about sleep/health issues & ways to solve the problem(s).
But for the average person who does not know a lot about sleep & sleep problems, this is a great place to start. It will help you figure out your issue, and point you in the right direction.
The book is fairly well-written, but does have the occasional weirdness that causes me to have to read a line a couple times to get what's trying to be said. Overall, not bad writing at all. And the formatting is fine. This is certainly not a 'sloppy' ebook (which is a little impressive, for the price).
As always, this should be just a portion of your reading on the subject -- not all of it. This is a good place to start, but there are better knowledge/resources out there for those with sleep troubles.
I'd recommend looking up things like 'sleep nutrition', 'lucid dreaming', and just some easy, high-energy exercises to do before bed (that you'll actually DO on a regular basis) on Google. You can get a *lot* of good information on sleep for free if you look around for it. ; ) Exercise & nutrition has helped me immensely (when I keep up on it); and lucid dreaming is a really... unique (and fun) experience when you can learn to do it -- it can really improve your night's rest. Try it! You'll be glad you did, I promise. (Once you get the hang of it, anyway.)
