If your majoring in Dietetics and nutrition, this can be helpful and fun to read. If you are not majoring in either and just want some knowledge on either, run away from this book. I read a review raving over this books depth, yet ease to read. It is very advanced and (I know this makes me sound simple) has extremely difficult words in it. I was not ready for it, I'll admit it. But, the book is excellent for smarter people and like I said, those majoring in it. I would recommend it to them.
